Hotel Foresta - Santiago

If you're into epic finds, you can't miss the Sicilian cunzato bread just a short walk away! The nearby restaurants like Chipe Libre and Cafe Del Opera offer some tasty local bites too. Plus, I loved the spacious room even though it faced the street.

First of all, the shower drain didn't work and flooded the bathroom! The sheets had some red stains, so I had to use a towel as a cover. When I asked for breakfast alternatives, all my requests were declined-such a bummer!

Really nice stay, as always. Quaint accommodation with particularly good setting close to Cerro Santa Lucia, plaza de Almas, parks, central markets and lots of cafes and restaurants, the city centre, and restaurants. Lots of good food.

Peeling wallpaper and paint, missing bathroom tiles, and mold in the bathroom paint a less-than-pleasant picture. Paper-thin walls. Lights occasionally refuse to work, and the shower doors are broken. Basic housekeeping mishaps occurred when the staff entered the room without knocking. Breakfast falls on the bland side, and the unreliable wifi can be a real hassle.

Simply nothing to complain about, REALLY NICE stay. Perfect hotel in a nice location in Belles Artes neighborhood. The staff were excellent, amicable and helped me with free parking. Outstanding food, good service.

Shower drain issues resulting in flooding!!! Dirty sheets with red stains. Lack of English-language TV channels is disappointing!!!

the shower drain was clogged and it caused a bit of a mess. 😅 however, the bed was super comfy with clean sheets 🛏️, and breakfast had eggs and fresh coffee! the location made it easy to explore everything nearby.

I spent two nights here, and I loved how easy it was to walk to nearby landmarks like Cerro Santa Lucia and the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts, both just a few minutes away. I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere in the surrounding neighborhood filled with charming cafes and restaurants.

Checking in was smooth, with staff accommodating our early arrival and assisting with our bikes. The room was so nice in size, and breakfast offered tasty options like eggs in a good setting. I noticed some cleanliness issues, specifically with the bathroom, as the drain didn't work properly and the linens had stains. The area felt safe but still advised caution at night, a little concerning.

Foresta has a charming ambiance with interesting old-fashioned decoration. Its location is unbeatable for visiting downtown Santiago and its main attractions. The room was spacious, and even though the bed was small and had an unusual shape, the staff were kind and very helpful.

Noise from the street was a significant drawback.

The location was great and excellent, with Patio Bellavista just a short walk away from the hotel. It was very close to bars and restaurants, offering a variety of options to choose from.
